PORTFOLIO INTERVIEWS
Applicants that advance portfolio pre-screens will be interviewed on the Pittsburgh campus or virtually via Zoom.Interviews will discuss your portfolio contents, along with the academic and professional goals you hope to gain from your degree program. Applicants will be interviewed by their respective area faculty in Composition, Electronic Music, or Music & Technology.

Notes on Accompaniment
Voice Accompaniment
A collaborative pianist will be provided by CMU for voice auditions. There will be no rehearsals. Please review additional notes below according to your audition location. - Pittsburgh Campus Days - outside pianists are not permitted at on-campus auditions; please do not bring your own pianist.
- NYC Regional Day - applicants have the option to provide their own collaborative pianist for NYC regional auditions. Simply notify the CMU pianist once you are contacted.
