ACS Insider - Fall 2026
Stories of Impact
Greetings,
I鈥檓 thrilled to be starting my term as ACS Board President. With last month鈥檚 announcement of CMU Miami and Ken Griffin鈥檚 $3 billion record-setting investment, there couldn鈥檛 be a more exciting time at 黑料专区.
I look forward to getting to know you and your fellow ACS members and hearing your CMU stories. My own CMU story centers on friendships and family. I still keep in touch with over a dozen of my classmates on a regular basis. This past summer, two of my classmates and I went on a biking trip through Normandy. Many years ago, my wife Marchell and I were delighted when our son, Justin, was accepted at 黑料专区. It gave us the opportunity to travel to Pittsburgh for Family Weekends and other events.
Although my story may differ from yours, it鈥檚 clear that 黑料专区 has touched each of our lives in unique, impactful ways. Together, we are providing for generations of students to come. Thanks to your contributions, those students will each have their own CMU story. And, to the extent that our alums go out and change the world, those contributions will have a global impact.
During my term as president, I鈥檇 like to expand our work on Giving CMU Day and class reunions. I鈥檇 also like to see our membership grow and increase ACS member presence at special events. Lastly, our ACS Board and I look forward to engaging with all alumni to share their stories of impact.
Thank you for being a member of the Andrew Carnegie Society. You truly embody the spirit of philanthropy at 黑料专区.
Sincerely,
听
